**UPDATE February 20, 2010** Wine World at WaterColor opening this month NOW OPEN Wine World is pleased to announce the mid-February opening of Wine World at WaterColor. The WaterColor venue will offer an extensive and value-oriented retail selection of wine, beer, and cheese along with related accessory items. Modeled after the popular and flagship Destin operation, but tailored for WaterColor, this new location also incorporates a sophisticated, yet informal, wine bar and a separate family-friendly restaurant with non-resort pricing.
“We work very hard to offer our clientele the best possible shopping and dining experience at the best possible prices,” says owner Chan Cox. “30A is long overdue for a value oriented, retail store and restaurant. We feel very positive that locals and vacationers alike will come to recognize the store as a well loved fixture along these world famous beaches.”
Wine World at WaterColor will offer both adult and family-friendly fare including grab-n-go breakfast items, fresh baked goods, Seattle’s Best coffee, pizzas, Panini’s and Chef Alison Porter’s gourmet lunch, dinner and tapas menu items.
While known for its wine selection, Wine World at WaterColor will also offer over 70 selections of cheeses, salami, prosciutto, Serrano ham and pates, as well as gourmet snacks, olives, sweets and other grocery items.
Chan, with over 30 years of food & beverage experience, brought together a team of wine, cheese and food professionals to customize operations to suit the 30A market, leveraging the successes and qualities of his other locations. The team features international wine and cheese expert Michel Thibault, culinary master and cookbook author Alison Porter and former Criolla’s general manager Tim Kinderman, all experienced in meeting the expectations and needs of 30A residents and visitors.

Borago celebrating 10 years on February 21 Join the owners and staff of Borago Restaurant in Grayton Beach on February 21 to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. They opened on March 1, 2000 and to mark the occassion, they will be offering free appetizers all night and 40% of the bar sales will go to benefit Children's Volunteer Health Network.
