VIE – People + Places magazine, published by Cornerstone Marketing & Advertising, Inc., has launched its new and improved state-of-the-art website, “VIEZINE,” at www.VIEzine.com. The newly designed site captures the spirit and purpose of the magazine and takes it to a new level by providing fresh content, social networking integration, clean design, and greatly enhanced advertising opportunities.
The new “VIEZINE” website is a launching pad for several new editorial, pictorial, and advertising elements, particularly the exciting new video component, VIEtv.
Launched in 2009 and produced by COLA 2 COLA Productions, VIEtv has its own section that showcases an array of newly produced webisodes in a large, easy-to-view format with sponsor links. A compilation of exclusive, behind-the-scenes photos taken since the magazine’s inception are showcased in an extensive and easy-to-browse photo gallery. Also new to the site is the “GiVIEs” section where regular giveaways, sponsored in conjunction with local businesses, will be offered to readers and viewers. VIEZINE will continue to publish news, events, and other points of interest related to VIE’s editorial content that was formerly showcased on VIEblog.
Facebook updates and Twitter “tweets” are posted to the homepage daily to help residents keep abreast of the latest news and happenings. Other improvements to the site that are expected to launch within the coming weeks include a new online digital platform for past and present issues of VIE with a greatly enhanced viewing experience with rich media.
“This website is so beautiful,” said Lisa Burwell, publisher of VIE magazine and president of Cornerstone Marketing & Advertising, Inc. “Bob Brown has really hit a home run with this creation. I like to call it his Sistine Chapel. He has masterfully woven the most relevant aspects of social networking and website development into a perfectly designed package.”
“The new website design intends to capitalize on all of the various media that VIE produces on a daily basis by showcasing it in a thoughtfully designed and attractive interface,” said Bob Brown, vice president of creative services for Cornerstone. “We put a lot of time and energy into producing a quality print magazine, and now we have put that same energy into creating an online presence that reflects that same measure of quality.”
