How long have you lived in South Walton? You were born and raised in....?
Born and raised in Birmingham, AL. Went to undergrad and grad school in Mississippi. Found me a boy and married in January of 2004, then moved to Santa Rosa Beach 3 weeks after the honeymoon. Five years later, we are still here!
You already live at the beach - where do you vacation?
Mountains... we love to snow ski. We even honeymooned in Big Sky, Montana!
What book(s) is on your nightstand?
Wish I had a cool answer for this one....I am on the computer all the time, and rearing 2 small kids.... I have not read a book in 2 years. Embarrassing!
If you were to come back as someone else, who would you be?
High Fashion Clothing Designer where budgets do not exist. I would be living in a penthouse in NYC.
What is your single greatest achievement so far?
It would be appropriate to say my children, but that scares me. They are both under 3-years-old and I have no clue if I have achieved anything yet!!! I love them dearly, and strive to grow loving and respectful children.
What is your favorite restaurant in South Walton?
Fat Daddy's Pizza :)
What 2 things can you not live without?
My husband and my wine!
What would you do if you won $1 million?
Buy a house in the Rockies.
If you could change one thing about yourself, it would be...
My tendency to open my mouth too quickly when I feel strongly about something. Although I mean no harm, it always gets me in trouble!!!
You are granted one wish. What is it?
3 more children without having to be pregnant!
The best thing about South Walton is....
The beach pass for Grayton. Every time we go, it is the best refresher of why we live here.
What is the greatest love in your life?
My husband... he works so hard for us and always has the best attitude.
What are the most important qualities in a friend?
Loyalty and willingness to drop anything to hang out with me on a whim!!!.
Would you say happiness is found or made?
Made for sure... happiness does not come from your circumstances, it comes from how you choose to respond and/or accept your circumstances. A good attitude can turn anything into happiness!
